I Like Fun
by Nathan Logan
To negotiate over the phone,
legs crossed in a cow skull chair.
I like fun just as much as the next
in line, please. What’s happening
just out of my line of sight. Beneath
the floor is where all the furniture
gets rearranged. Scary noises
in the hedgerow. I’ll shave my head
to speed up the divorce proceedings.
All I’ve done is come back home.
At my second yoga class, the instructor
says the tandem bike pose is both
relaxing and a metaphor for the next life.
But I don't agree with that.
